This item is cute. I thought with "Kitchenaid" I couldn't go wrong. This is a wonderful beater. Does the job well with thinner batters. Unfortunately I like to make cake alot, like pound cake. The thickness of these batters is just a little too much for this little beater. It slows down and speeds up during use, and on the box it's called an "energy saver". Truth is, it just slows down in thick batter because there's not enough power to push the beaters! Felt like chanting "I think I can, I think I can"...
Bottom line, if you're looking for something to make cookie batter, dough, etc., this is not the toy for you.

I was hoping for the quality I'm used to from KitchenAid (my frame of reference is my workhorse KA stand mixer) but this mixer left me craving more power. Honestly, I think I can hand whisk faster than this mixer.

I expected this mixer to be awesome, and well, it is! It is VERY quiet, and very lightweight. The little storage bag is not needed, but a bonus!
