So I was happy to find this one which also has a particularly attractive color-hazelnut- as is the price. However. The leather, while soft, is not Cabretta glove soft and the peak lapel has a notch, odd. It is also the odd two button style when a wider lapel, single button would be more in keeping with the Euro heritage imo. The lapel to my eyes is narrow, while the shoulder seams, on me, were set even wider than mine; probably to keep the sleeve length within the hide length? IMO the sleeves should extend to the thenar of the palm; these are shorter. Look at the model: if your arms are shorter than his, the sleeves should fit, but is that shoulder width what you wish? You'll notice there is no tall size offered in hazelnut, so I had to go to a Large to get long enough sleeves when a Medium usually works. Not that I wanted to look like a psychopathic criminal, but because it looked so cool! I am a bit frugal with my money, and would never spend $229.00 on a piece of clothing, but I had a bit of a windfall and thought I would buy this jacket with the idea I would return it if it wasn't really amazing. I made the mistake of ordering an XL based on trying on cheaper made jackets at various stores at the mall. It arrived and while it was georgeous it was way too big on me so I returned it for a size Large. The seller was great about this and I received my second jacket right away. I was so afraid the sleeves would be too short for me on a size Large, but when it arrived, it fit great. The sleeves are long enough, and it is such a well made garment.
