I purchased one of these a few weeks ago and I am really enjoying it. It is fast, it doesn't splash and it is ridiculously easy to clean. It turns a banana, a handful of strawberries and some kefir into a perfectly blended smoothie in about 20 seconds with no mess.

This is a fine little mixer, but I'm returning it since I feel my hand-held blender with regular beaters does basically the same thing for my needs. I do love the case it comes in! Very handy. Also, if you mix drinks in a glass, this would be perfect. I don't though. I had to try it though. I make hummus a lot, and this just got stuck in the beans. It's more for soups, easy to mix shakes, etc.

How did I ever live without this? Shipping was faster than you can blink. Took about 3 seconds to pulverize onions, tomatoes, garlic, chipotles and cilantro for my favorite tortilla soup recipe.
